John Magnall was born on 9 February 1807 to John Ma(n)gnall (KM028) and Betty (nee Brook). He was baptised on 2 May 1807 at Emmanuel Church in Holcombe (Holcombe Chapelry) and the register shows that they were living at Old Meadows.
John married Ann Marsh on the 7 November 1831 at St Mary’s Church in Bury. John was working as a weaver. They had the following children:
- William b.1836
- Betty b,1841
The 1841 Census shows John and Ann living at Boardmans with their two children, John was working as a labourer.
John was still living at Boardmans when he died in December 1847. He was buried at Emmanuel Church in Holcombe on 28 December 1847.
