Richard was born about 1695 in Worsley, Lancashire. He had at least two children:

  • Benjamin, born abt. Apr 1722, christened 5 April 1722 at St Mary’s, Eccles. Died and buried 6 Apr 1722 at St Mary’s, Eccles.
  • Joseph (LM045), born abt. Apr 1722, christened 5 April 1722 at St Mary’s, Eccles.
