Thomas and Ruth had two sons:

The 1911 Census shows that Thomas and Ruth were living at 52 Woodbine Road in Burnley with their oldest son Clifford and Ruth’s widowed father, Richard. Thomas was working as a Cotton Loom Overlooker and Ruth was working as a Cotton Weaver. Richard was 53 and working as a “Coal Miner Hewer”.

We think, but have yet to confirm, that Thomas died in Nelson in 1963 (RoD Nelson 1963 Q1 10e 751 age 82)
