Fenton Mangnall of Manchester in the County of Lancaster Merchants and Manufacturers 64/64
Dated 19 November 1860 / 1880? Signed
Registrar W GH Stewart?

It looks as if the Lion was built in 1856 but it is not clear if Fenton acquired the Lion in 1860 or 1880 but it was broken up in 1884. Did Fenton buy up an older boat and run it into the ground (sea!)?
